Hello from Cornwall
Hi all
Looking for small rib as we are looking to move to a small island with a harbour and looking for a small rib so we can have a bit of freedom. I would like a sea rider as I use on currently for work.
Will travel for the right boat. I am a ex RNLI helm and am a marine engineer by trade any help in sourcing a good boat would be great.
Thanks
James.

OK so I have £3500 to spend not more than £4000 what's out there. There's a Humber for sale what does every one think about that one in the for sale section.

Wrong time to be looking cash wise-you're in what I call 'silly season' on Ebay at the moment where junk sells for way more than it's worth.
Whatever you buy, don't get carried away and absolutely DONT buy unseen, specially if they offer to ship to you or if it looks like an amazing deal. It's scam central at the moment.
What's the Humber? Post a link please, there's a lot of boats in the For Sales.

Looks like a nice package on the face of it. You can't really go wrong with a Yam 2 stroke.

You say 'we' so I assume you're going to have company aboard most of the time.
The motor is realistically too small for an SR4 on the Cornish coast with 2 people aboard.
The Humber would be a better bet of the two if I was pushed to say it as there's not a lot of room for 2 people onboard an SR4 console either.
However, the SR4 would be my choice with a bigger engine if it was going to be mostly solo use

So go larger. A 4m with 2+2 o fills up very quickly. It's the reason I now own a 4.7!!
