Hello from East Devon

HI Everyone

Glad i've found this forum and hope to gleen a lot of useful knoweldge from more experienced boaters.

I've recently bought my first SIB; a second hand Honwave T35 and a new suzuki 20hp. I've finally got all my essentials together. PFD's, flares, VHF radio, fish finder, navionics etc and I'm basically ready to launch.

I live down here in East Devonand I'm currently waiting for the weather to become a little newbie friendlier.

Excited to get the SIB out to explore this beautiful coastline we have and to get on the wreck fishing too. However nervous all the same, as I've never launched a boat myself, let alone navigated to any particular marks.

If there are any members who would allow me to launch with and fish with down here, I would be much abliged.

Thanks for reading this far!

Cheers Woodsa

Welcome. Mebbe consider doing PB2 training. 2 days, couple of hundred quid, great fun if it’s done right and you should learn a ton of things to keep you safe and build up the confidence.
