Hello from Ireland

Hi Lads

I'm new to ribbing, but not to boating. Sold my Orkney last year and bought a SR 5.4. The forum was a wealth of info before I decided to buy, ye know your stuff. The boat came with just an outboard, no electronics etc.

Jobs done:

Remove rubbing strake
Relocate battery to console
Install 43l fuel tank
Fit Icom M323 Vhf
Fit Garmin 551 and connect both to each other
Fit bilge pump and run wires to console
Install wema fuel gauge and mercury tachometer
Run wires for Nav lights
Fit LED spot lights and run wires
Jobs to do:
Fit rubbing strake and treadmaster (I'll leave this to the professionals as I'm afraid I'll like the Bostik fumes too much )
Install battery isolator
Install wema voltmeter gauge
Fit Blue Sea systems fuse block
6 gang switch panel
Make the whole spaghetti looking mess neat and tidy.

Regards
ScubaBoy

Welcome (officially) to RIBnet. The RIB sounds well sorted! Bit of weather now and we'd be right....

Welcome and happy motoring - if only this wind would ease on the east coast here.
You should get some shelter in that lovely big harbour.

Welcome to RIBnet - from a fellow 5.4 owner

Good luck with the refurb and probably worth letting you know that this community loves build/refurb threads (with pics)

That part is best done as an on-going project while you do the others. Easier to wire stuff up neatly than it is to clean up a mess.

Luck with the boat, and enjoy;
