Hello from Malta

Dear forum members,

As I just joined this forum I would like to introduce myself. My name is Pascal and I am a 28 year old German living on the beautiful island Malta.

I am a passionate fisher and free diver, but have never owned a boat myself. So, considering my passion for water(-sports) it seems like it was just a question of time untill I have the plan to buy my first own boat. And finally that time has arrived.

To make a long story short, I have no clue about boats and hope to find some good advice for a first-time-buyer. Be prepared for some newbie questions

welcome, great place for boating in malta, lovely clear warm water. Ive been a few times, I have a mate in the UK who has an apartment in Silema, should be visiting for a lads weekend in early June. Barracuda restaurant I remember rather well. Send us some pics of the waters.

My father-in-law has just moved to Malta and will also be looking to get a RIB locally. It would be good to hear your buying experiences and which dealers you recommend.

Once you have seen a few boats that you like, post on the RIB Talk section for opinions and advice - I am sure you will get plenty.
