Hello from Northern Canada

Hi all,
A pleasure to join this cool forum.
I have a Zodiac C260SOLID that I use as a tender for my power boat.
I need to reglue the davit patches back on and am struggling to find the correct glue.
I don't want to do this twice!!
Any help much appreciated!

Welcome to the board

Use a two part glue. I like Stabond and have been using it for over a decade, but there are other brands too. Cleaning off the old glue and prep are everything.

NRS has a ton of videos on repairs and all kinds of tips and tricks on their website. The davits are a sort of patch.

In the USA I like NRS for supplies.

Thanks

Thanks so much Peter for the rapid response.
I will commence the hunt for Stabond and remove the old glue.
Any need to abrade the surface?
My old davit patches look like they have been glued more than once so I'm wondering why they haven't stuck on in the past....

Yes you need to abrade the surface, and chemically wipe it before applying glue.

I've found mixing smaller batches of glue is better, and use a glass measuring "cup" but smaller than a cup. Once dry the glue peels out if you catch it before it sets hard.
