Hello from the West

Hello all, joined this week but have owned Ribs for years, looking to go further afield than West Wales, looking at the group/ad hoc trips any where in UK that looks fun and interesting.
Have owned an Avon and now have a Zodiac Pro 9 and Zodiac 550. Pro 9 needs to go as no room on drive

Spend a lot of time in Carmarthen Bay and also Milford, now with a bigger RIB can push along the coast further and of course a bit faster

Morning ! and welcome to RIBnet

I regularly drive 300 miles to cruise in your area . Make sure you don't take your own back yard for granted

I kept my rib in Neyland for two months this year , and cruised from Amroth to Dinas Head ( Fishguard ) . My rib is back in Essex for the winter , but expect to back next May for the whole summer ( I hope ) . You would be welcome to join us on our travels to the islands as far as the Smalls .

Happy ( and Safe ) Ribbin' Bern

Hello, I certainly dont take the back yard for granted. I work away during the week to live down this way. There is so much to do, so many bays, coves etc. and generally there is no one about.

I am keen to get out to the Smalls and would love to do it in company.

I note you keep your Rib in the Marina at Neyland, I have my older RIB up for sale and a potential buyer wants to keep it in Neyland but is unsure of what needs to be done in relation to keeping it dry/stop it flooding etc.

I opend this post last night:
http://www.rib.net/forum/f8/pros-and...ing-70424.html

To see if anyone has ideas on overcoming the issues.

Thanks
