Hi TSM,

Need advice Please

Hey TSM,
Last saturday morning March 30th 8am with blue skies and with a high tide and desided to take my Rib with my good friend out on the Shannon estuary. With all our safety checks done an extra fuel , just incase . We launched the rib safely from Cappa Pier , Kilrush County Clare all was looking good , But the engine would not run?, It started for a mere one minute sounded fine. I parked up the trailer from the slip way , when i got back to the Rib it again had cut out according to my friend who was with me and stayed in the Rib. We tried to start it for a good 30 minutes to no avai? It had oil and fuel and just been serviced by a boat marine specialist. I have had a lake boat for many years with less Hp
( Pull Cord ) and at that im used to sitting in pull the cord and away i go. Im to take Rib boat course soon , .. But im thinking its something simple. I had taken the rib out a few weeks ago and all was well, she ran lovely on a local lake, but the gears were slipping so i brought her to a boat marine mechanic and was told they were fixed. But here i am again lost.? Ive gone over and over again trying to figure out what it could be?

Any advice given is much appreciated, Well with that i hope you had a good Easter..

Regards

plenty help later i am sure, but possibly flooded (overchoked), or had you inadvertently activated kill switch easily done particularly if you were not using the killcord ??
