Hello from Southampton, I've just joined!

Hello

I have just joined Ribnet. Back in May I commissioned the build of a Rib and later next week will undertake her sea trials. It's been a long time coming. I'm based near Southampton in the UK and will be using her for cruising.

At 8.2m, with a Yamaha F350, suspension jockey seats and a good degree comfort at the stern, she is something I'm very proud of. I've posted a view pictures of her in build to an album.

It's been 10 years since I was on the water last with my 6.2m Bombard with an Yamaha F115.

It's been too long but in a week, we are back at sea!

Welcome to RIBnet

Nice RIB! Ribeye seem to be setting the pace with design at the moment.

We have a Prime821 here at our Dry Stack and it's a real head turner - I'm sure yours will be just as nice.

Steve

Welcome onboard, that's certainly a beast of a setup you have there. Hopefully you will post some pic's when you get chance, by the way I'm sure Yamaha would of addressed any issues they had in those early ones.

By the way I use to live just across the water on the IOW but now live in Australia, you will have heaps of fun down that part of the country with the new rig.

Jonp, that's very kind, thank you. I certainly will post a few shots.
