Hello, new member from Hamble

Hi

I have just purchased a 3 year old prototype Ribeye E600 with a 100 Yamaha to pay with in the Solent.

It is narrower than the current A600 with a single row of jockey seats and a double bench at the back. I am looking forward to testing it in the Solent next season, my theory is that the narrower beam will handle the chop better and the family will not get too wet ... I guess time will tell on that one

I am sure I will have lots of questions as the season progresses but I will try not to burden you all too much.

Regards,

Mutely.

A big welcome to the forum Mutely. Well done on your first rib I am not familiar with this model but I'm sure the resident experts will be along soon to offer their considered opinion but remember its only their opinion everybody likes different things in a rib its what suits you that is important.
I wish you many happy safe hours on the water with her.
Remember the forum is about contributing as well as silent listening so please dive in when ever you need there is a mass of info and experience on her just watch for the banter, give as good as you get!!
Cheers for now.
J

Thank you Jambo

I am led to believe that I have the only E600. I don't know if this is true but it would be great to find out more.

I will endeavour to remain active.

Hi

The pictures you see through google are the same boat.

It was sold earlier in the year and then resold to me last week.

It handled well on sea trial but it was a flat calm day. We did push through the wake from the Southampton - Cowes fast cat but that was as much chop as we could find.

be unusual to goto the expensive of making the mould to only do one though so there is hope more are around.

nice looking rib, not sure how different the e600 is from the a600, when we had the a600, passengers on the rear bench used to complain about getting wet - or maybe it was just my driving! Not had that problem with the zodiac though, always nice and dry.
