Hello! New to ribs... Thanks for the help

Hey guys I am very new to ribs. Never owned one.never been on one nothing! But I just got ahold of a caribe c14. Due to lack of knowledge of terms i couldn't find an answer to my questions. So here's my questions. The boat has no sides. It is the rigid hull only. The bags were cut off. Can boat still b used for fishing as is?? Will it float and stay above water with no sides?? Is boat worth anything as is? Thanks in advance

Welcome to Ribnet

In the order you asked them:-

No,

no,

no,

maybe, but not if you get aboard

about 200 quid or a couple of hundred dollars.

it's going to cost more to fix than it's worth.

No. Without the tubes, it's scrap.

Unlikely-they're usually only removed if they're trashed and they have to be the correct ones for the hull.

In the USA it's going to be several thousand bucks for a new set.

It'll be cheaper to find another boat.

Maybe-chuck it on Ebay and find out would be your best bet unless there's someone nearby who builds tubes?
Couple of hundred is a wild guess-I'm not in the USA. Maybe one of our US members can advise you better on that.
