Helloaquarium

Hello all,

Just saying hello after a fairly long period of lurking.

My mind has returned to boats after a break of some 25 years. I spent my formative years associating with raggies on Loch Lomond where they allowed me to run some rudimentary rescue cover in an ancient Dory. That was in my mid to late teens after which I took an extended break from all forms of boating until this year when my Dad bought a Nord Star 28 after years as a committed raggy. I've been out on the FIrth of Clyde with him acouple of times and It reminded me how much I like being on the water and now I can't stop thinking about owning a boat of some kind.

So that's why I'm here. I'm sure you'll see me around asking dumb-ass questions. Hopefully you'll all be patient with me.

BTW I now live in West Yorkshire, so now exactly the water sports capital of the UK!

Cheers,

Dan

No hope for you now Dan; destined for a life bereft of cash and an ever increasing pile of boating mags next to your bed

I don't know where 'Helloaquarium' came from. The joy of predictive text (posted from my phone last night).

Thanks for the welcome.
