Hi all

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker on here for what seems like forever, so now seems as good a time as any to jump aboard so to speak. I work at sea and during that time I ended up working with Seariders for about a decade, SR6's to be precise. Of all the ribs I've messed about with over the years It's always been the SR6 that remained my favorite, probably because they seem almost bombproof and without being too dramatic I've seen them take damage that probably would've sunk a hardboat.
So the reason I've joined Ribnet is I'll hopefully be selling my hardboat this summer and buying an SR6, that is if I can find one in good condition!

Good evening and good luck finding an SR6! They are very rare and hence command quite a premium over other boats of same size/age!

Biffer had a rather large searider and still knows the owner or I think TimM has one. Not that they are for sale but you never know

Thanks for all the replys. I did spot another two Seariders, one on a website called donedeal which has 'interesting' modifications to the console and seating at 15k and the second through Ancaster boat sales, 2006 model, 150 opti at 22k.
To be honest I'd prefer something that doesn't require too much work as all the boats I've had for the last twenty years have required a lift out during the season for painting, maintenance etc and I've done more than my fair share of engine rebuilds. Anyway this is all subject to my hardboat selling for a reasonable price, if not I'll probably be in the market for yet another lost cause/project!
