Hi from a total newbie

Hi new to this. currently a Kayaker. Which i mainly use for fishing from on Anglesey when visiting friends or on my home coast at Blackpool.

I am currently contemplating buying a SIB. So i can fish with a friend. It will have to able to fold into the back of my C5 Estate. I was thinking a 3.2-3.4 air deck would be best with 10hp engine. Does this seem right.

Look forward to learning from you guys.

For me I find I always want more HP. Being able to plane really helps when trying to get somewhere. I had a 3 meter with a 20hp. It was very zippy and fun with one person, with 3 it would not plane.

Welcome to the forum RA... sorry missed your post first time round.

Yes an air deck around that length would be a good start into sibbing. 10hp fine but I'd consider 15hp too... but are you thinking new/used... and 2 or 4 stroke?
