Hi From Barmouth

Hi All

Darrern here. Just bought a Yam330s Rib with parsun 9.8 engine with my Cousin Nigel. Looking to do a bit of sea fishing next year now as getting all licenses and insurance sorted

Cheers

Hi and welcome. Is this your first time boating?

I only have one experience of Barmouth and it's a real old days one where dad hired a clinker rowing boat to row us up the estuary but we didn't get far as the ebb was a bit strong. On the way back the eddies around the bridge made it quite hard to keep a straight line under oar power alone. I think he pushed his luck a bit and was mightily relieved to get back safely.

No I used to waterski in the estuary in the 80,s Had a fletcher back then. Just want to do a bit of fishing now. Estuary can be a bit of task depending on tides

Hi and welcome to the forum. A few rib/sib fishing guys on here, and the subject crops up quite often if you use the search function.
Not long started trying our hand at this fishing lark, and been quite lucky so far, but there’s no doubt in my mind why it’s called fishing rather than catching
