Just to introduce myself, Nick from Christchurch Dorset, been into boats for 60 years on and off, I have bought myself a Avon Searider 5.4 with a two stroke Mercury 90hp, my last boat was a Plymouth Pilot 19, 6 knots flat out so now I am looking forward to a bit of speed, will be using it mostly for fishing and trips to IOW/Poole etc, looking forward to learning all about ribs, and what they are like when anchored how much sea they can take and how to keep my hat on at speed, bought the rib at a distance so not even heard the outboard running,
I will come back once I have started it, fingers crossed,
