Hi From Edinburgh

Hello to all .
Reading everything from this forum has made me go out and buy my first SIB, a Seamax E Marine 3.3 , just ordered my outboard and launching wheels, cant wait to get out.
Will be the sea lochs out west to get me used to eveyrthing and once I'm up to it , I'll try the East coast.
So much good information from Ribnet members makes enjoyable reading till the early hours of the morning.
Anyway best of luck for 2015.

hi there,

you should consider loch lomond for your first outing, great setup at the memorial slipway just incase you need a hand.

i am in/out the loch now and then if you want to meet up sometime for a wee jaunt when you get your boat.

enjoy!

cheers

Miksey, happy to head out with you to explore the islands of the forth. I live out by North Berwick so plenty of launch options. Out most weeks, PM me when you're ready to go.
Cheers
Chunk

Hi Mikesy, welcome to the forum.
PM me anytime you fancy a run out with a bit of company in the Montrose or Arbroath area. I mainly launch from ferryden beach which is good for any state of the tide. I have a Honwave 3.8 with a 9.8 Parsun. For further out I take my Smartwave 4800 cc with 60 Mariner on the back. Have a look at the Scottish S*IB gathering thread. You may want to get out with a bunch of us for a fun weekend. http://www.rib.net/forum/f18/scottis...5-a-66074.html
