Recently upgraded to an XS600 from a 5m Humber we’d had for a couple of years so relative newbie. Looking forward to picking up some tips and tricks from the collective!

Hello and welcome. Great boating location. As a kid I was allowed to row and sometimes motor about St. Peter Port harbour in the dinghy when we were on jaunts that usually involved the triangle of Southampton, St Peter Port and Cherbourg. There was always something special about reaching the Channel Islands.

It’s a fantastic area - used to potter around the marinas in a tender with a 2hp outboard as a kid as well. Not ventured beyond Sark so far - took some take away pizza to Havre Gosselin yesterday evening!

My favourite place to go boating is Guernsey and the surrounding areas. We spent 4 weeks over in the CI’s this summer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Where do you keep your Rib?
