Hi JamieD,

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you've already found what a great place and resource Rib.net is.

I see you've found that Haven Banks run the PB2 course. I took mine through them back in March and can highly recommend Ben and his colleagues. Very competitive price wise too.

Hope to see you out and about on the Exe sometime.

Cheers,

Dan.

Hi Dan

Yep, found the haven banks course, they have done a good job on rebuilding the place...and extremly reasonable prices! trying to get one last person to sign up for the course otherwise they will not run it...
see you are in starcross...i love cockwood harbour and the two pubs the anchor and ship inn...your in the perfect location!!

Have you been out to the exe cafe in the estuary? want to visit it sometime.

Regards j

Hi Jamie,

We've been out to the River Exe Cafe quite a few times this year. It's closed from October to April 1st, but would definitely be up for meeting up over there next year. The Turf is well worth a visit too if you haven't been there yet - it has pontoon for several craft.

We really like it in Starcross - we live on the front so can keep an easy eye on our mooring from the house. Which is a especially useful considering the impending storm. I've had to leave the boat out there until next week, so will be keeping a close eye on it. All calm at the moment an if it remains SWesterly it shouldn't be too bad in the boats out there. Um, I hope that wasn't a Michael Fish moment!

I hope to be trailering mine in a few times over the winter, so hope to see you around. Or we can arrange to meet out at the cafe next year.

Have fun on the course and hope you get the 3rd person.

Cheers,

Dan
