Hi from Oman

Hi Apologies I have just spotted the message regarding introduction.
I'm fortunate to be working in Sunny Oman with a fantastic coast line and equally impressive fishing opportunities, therefor I thought it would be rude not to take advantage of this.
I have recently picked up an old Gemini (think it's a 5.5) with a pair of mariner 30's. It has been sat for 18 months and required some TLC (tubes hold air though).
Joining the RIBnet website and forum seemed to be a logical decision being new to boat ownership (I do have a little hydroforce sunsaille which has been fun).
I'm hoping to being able to contribute where I can (ex mechanic and two stroke specialist) as well as receiving advice and guidance if people can help.
Also looking forward to enjoying my "classic" Gemini in the near future.

Thank you for the reply.
Yes the weather is perfect at the moment, however that will change over the next 6 weeks (back into the high30's).
My handle is one which I used a few years ago when I used to race bikes, I ran a 1993 Yamaha tz250 at club level (a bit cringeworthy now as I didn't really tame it. the chassis was so forgiving it would make anyone look half decent hehe)
