It Has Been A Long Time!

Hello again everyone.

After a 5 year absence I have recently decided to get back into the wonderful (and expensive) world of ribbing. I used to spend most of my life on the forum and took part in the Sea Rider Gathering (Portsmouth / Isle Of Wight) in 2009 which was brilliant.

http://www.rib.net/forum/f16/searide...ics-32646.html

Its good to see there are still a number of people on here that gave me great advice when I first started out and no doubt I will be calling on your knowledge and expertise on the rebirth of the old girl.

Looking forward to all fun again but not sure if my bank account can take the battering.....we will see!!!

Blimey! was that 8yrs ago?

That was a larey old day. Goodness knows how you stayed in that SR4.

Jim's about half that size now and has been through another Vipermax since. I'm looking out of the window at an SR4 in the drive right now myself.

Thanks guys.

Chris, yes where has that time gone eh? Still makes me chuckle reading the posts from the gathering I have well and truly knackered my back since then so will have to take it easier on the water.....well maybe

I remember you getting the SR4 how do you find the Honda 50? As for Jim being half the size..... I must have found what he lost and what about Brad is he still around?

Hi Trevor,

Glad to hear you had good fun in the Honwave after the initial problem with the prop! If the SR4 doesn't work out then I might go back to a smaller SIB.

The Ribtec sounds very nice

Yep!

Brad still has a garage full of boats, they just don't see much daylight.

BF50 is good, I like the combination.

So you still have the SR?
