Looking for help!

Hello from California
My nephew just gave me his dads old rib.
I’m a former lifeguard and used a rib daily. I’m having problems identifying this old Avon model and only have the hull plate for now.
We’re searching for the paperwork.
Need a good sleuth to figure out what model it is.
Should be a fun restoration as I’ve restored and maintained these for a lifeguard agency.
Here’s the hull IID.
Pictures in comments.

RIBase
Couple of threads here may help.

What happens when you contact Avon for specific rebuild questions: https://www.rib.net/forum/f8/a-littl...von-40021.html

Contacting Avon (now Zodiac MilPro): https://www.rib.net/forum/f8/identif...oat-78008.html

You could PM office888 who is state-side and in the trade.

That HIN makes it a 1998 boat so by Avon standards quite recent! Could well be an Avon Searider (which have a bit of a cult following). Does it have a large hole at the bottom of the V below the engine and two further vent holes near the front of the hull - if yes it’s a Searider and these are the water ballast vent / drain holes.

A photo will tell us exactly what it is.

It's an Avon Rover RIB, probably R3.11 is the model.

You'll need to file paperwork for your state since it's been registered before.

Otherwise, you can just contact Zodiac US for a replacement MSO.
