Hi, I have been reading the threads for a while and have learnt so much from it. I have finally taken the plunge and joined the forum. The main reason I have been hesitating is because while I think my interests are common with many members I actually run a 17' dory at the moment. I hope this doesn't bar me from talking to you all!
My background is in sailing, however work and family commitments have constrained my time to a point where I need something that doesn't require hours of rigging to maximise our time on the water.
My interests are in cruising creeks and bays in the westcountry with my partner and 1 yr old daughter.
Welcome to RIBnet. We don't have a bar on boat types and as you say, much of the discussions are relevant no matter what you float in. Of course, you'll find us very ribbist, but that's to be expected
