I joined today. The wife and I are not yet RIB owners although hope to be one day. I am looking to do some research before purchasing and have been a reader of rib.net for some while.
I anticipate that our budget will only allow for something that needs work, however I am quite handy and enjoy that sort of thing (he says optimistically!) and also we are divers so the ability to get 3 or 4 divers on board plus a boat handler would be useful.
I am particularly interested in learning how the boat layout can be changed as I've found it quite difficult to see how the deck is constructed on a rib. From research thus far, it looks like console / seats are bonded and screwed down, so can be lifted and moved around relatively easily however I haven't found details of how to do this yet. Any advice gratefully received.
