New member - aerotech

Hi, been reading the forums for a number of years without realising i wasn't a member. Simple joining system.

I had small river cruisers in the 70's and recently returned to the water with inflatables. A couple of quicksilvers first, and latterly a honwave T35, which I find a little too much effort to put up and break down now after owning it two years. Sold on EBAY today, So looking for inflatable floored rib that is light and can take my lovely Yamaha 20hp SS. Almost settled on the aerotech 380, but if you know better in box me. Like to go fast and safe when possible and sometimes in the coastal med.

Hi I have had the Aerotech for 9 years now and recon its hard to beet, but for the money the HONDA HONWAVE T38 looks a good cheaper alternative!

Recon I would still get my money back on what I paid for my year old Aerotec after 9 years Not sure the same could be said for the Honda?

As Nick says for value the Honwave is a viable alternative... probably get a new one for the price of a 10+yr old Aerotec.

The Honwave is more roomy with a flatter floor which might suit your use. The Aerotec has a stiffer floor which may be important to you.
