Just picked myself up my first rib , turns out I got one of 60 camel trophy ribtec 655, what’s everyone’s thoughts on these ?
Try using the search function, Camel Trphy RIBs have been around a loooong time & have been discussed before. Not wishing to pee on your parade, but they were built to a price & for a specific task, longevity wasn’t a concern. I think Nugent might have done a refurb on one a few years back.

Hi pal .. thanks 🙏🏼.. it was one of them buys where I couldn’t turn down .. for a 24 year old boat it’s not in that bad shape , the floors /hull are perfect.. tubes bit sun faded. Thanks for the pointer I will give it a search , hopefully I can find out what number of 60 made it was

My camel trophy Ribtec was the boat Nugent had the pleasure of pulling & fitting a new structure & deck. Also had to remove and replace the fuel tank & all rigging as it had degraded/rotted out
Best day of boat ownership when you buy and when you sell ! The in-between bit was expensive

Hi whiskylee Have you still got the boat ? ..the hull /floors on this are perfect, the tanks clean. (All 3 ) . Who ever had it looked after it with no expense spared
