Donno welcome to the forum. I see you have a possible fishing buddy close to you on another thread. What's your outfit and what else can we help with?

hi fenlander

thanks for posting

I have bought a small inflatable 2.3 long with a 4.2 outboard motor, its nothing flash but will accommodate me and my mate for river fishing and small lakes and to take camping with us
was hoping to get on the river tees as its not far from me, was wondering what documentation I would require to use the river

thanks

I'll leave the Tees regulations to a local... jus take care in your SIB as 2.3m is short for two and Intex are really pond boats... also I think (happy to be proved wrong) that their small boats will not be rated for as much as 4hp.

hi

thanks for the advice,

I have two inflatables the intex is 3.5m long and the 2.3m one is a solar marine from china I got off ebay, I know that inflatables from china have very poor reviews but when I compare the two the solar marine is a far better quality than the intex, I only intend to use them in small lakes and shallow rivers for fishing and in time will upgrade to something better in the future that's why I got the 4.2 engine

thanks

I've posted a reply on the other thread, basically to launch at the barrage you need to register....name, address, etc... and give them a copy of your insurance doc, it's indemnity that they want to see, after that, happy days!
