New member saying hello

Hi, we have just bought our first rib a 3d tender 540 dream with 75hp Mariner on the back, we have a honwave t38 with torqeedo 3hp as well that we bought last year and had lots of fun with, we live in mid Wales so trailer the rib which has only been on a lake near us so far but took the honwave out of Oxwich in the gower lots last year and will soon take the rib down there too. Looking forward to hopefully joining other members when possible as we have lots to learn! Happy to travel pretty much anywhere to explore!
Thanks Will

We have only been able to do 5mph so far as that is the speed limit on Llangorse lake near us unless you are towing a skier/inflatable (which we don't have yet!). We are off to Cardiff Bay on Thursday to have a bit more freedom.

Thanks for the Welcome.

Hi Will, I'm envious! I think a rib from Oxwich Bay would be idyllic.

Had a glorious week there last year, it is a place we will definitely be seeing again.

Thanks Steve, a great video, very inspiring. I'm just looking at joining oxwich boat club, ( £25 and must be done before arrival for launching in July and August).
Thanks Will

Welcome aboard WillJ.
If you fancy exploring Pembrokeshire I'd be happy to give you some pointers, maybe show you around if I'm about.

He may even point you in the direction of some really good wartering holes along the Cleddau

Another one of my favourite places I was fortunate enough to visit last year.

Thanks Jon, I will definitely be touch, I've been looking at the cleddau, I'm hoping to spend a few days there in August, hopefully you will be around and we could maybe meet up if its convenient for you.
Steve, pubs with a pontoon for a lunch stop is the dream!

That's the best, longest, easiest, cheapest (free) slip I've ever used. I used it at all states of tides, apart from low springs, without a problem.
