Hi,

Again I am new to powered boating having been a wannabe for many years.

As my intro boat I've bought a lovely Gemini Dive 470, and a 2 stroke Mariner 40 short shaft.

I need to buy a suitable trailer next as the boat itself is 100kg so a bit big to transport and launch without a trailer. Not in too much of a rush as I intend to do a level two and VHF course before taking to the water.

We live in the Midlands but have a caravan in Mid Wales so plenty of access to water.

Hi Tony,

I'm another Dive 470 owner. These are extremely well built boats. Did you go with a catamaran hull (high jackers) or with center V-keel? Please post up more pictures of your boat in the SIB forum. Here are some pictures of mine.

Hi,

Mine has the Catamaran hull and is made of Hypalon. Last weekend we drove 400 miles round trip (Saturday) to pick up a motor for it, bought a 40hp Mariner. Sunday we did a similar journey to buy a road trailer so I'm getting close to getting on the water. Will post more pictures soon.
