Hi Steve,
I've finished the trailer. I was going to go up to Scotland in September but it got cancelled. I went to get the trailer approved at Blackburn but they do just wagon trailers so I'm going to have to take it to Manchester to get it passed. I'm going in the van in may so I'll be able to check it out and see how it handles.

Sorry Steve, I've only just seen your post. I used my trailer last summer up Scotland while we were in our caravan. It works really well.

Hi Chris, did you put bunks on it or is the SIB on rollers?
Have you thought anymore about making them to order?

Hi Steve, I've got rollers on it . You just lift the front of the dinghy and push the trolley under it. I'm going over to Chadderton this week to see about getting it road legal.

With the OB on the transom, is there not too much weight going through where the tubes sit on the rollers?

Chris, great trailer and would fit my needs to a T!!

If not too much of an inconvenience, any chance you can share a parts list with dimensions for tubing, steel fittings, brackets, etc.

Thanks!

Just seen this for the first time - great job Chris! Are all of the parts that join the scaffold tube off the shelf parts, or did you have to fabricate them? I am really interested in the idea of a collapsible trailer of a similar size to this one, so that I can leave my SIB up over the summer but put everything in the shed over winter (not enough drive space). Have you been through the IVA yet and if so how did it go?

Chris, for got to ask.....

How do you get boat onto trailer?
I have a 68KG 3.5M Zodiac and it is heavy! Too heavy to lift onto trailer. Need a flat surface to assemble boat and install floors..... so assembling on a bunk trailer would not work.

Ideas based on your design?

Thanks
