Newbie - Northampton - Portsmouth - Southampton
Hello people!
I'm Ian / Stoney (whichever you prefer) from Northampton. Will be buying my first SIB this weekend, can't wait! I'm excited and anxious at the same time. I plan to use it mainly for fishing and family trips when my boy is older around the Portsmouth, Southampton and Hayling Island areas as I have friends who live in Westbourne.
I plan to do the powerboat 2 training course and presume this is the best starting point?
I'm a total beginner so please if anyone has any hints tips advice to help point me in the right direction I'd be grateful. Such as where's cheap and decent for the training, decent launch locations, fishing locations, any cheap dry docks where I could keep the boat etc etc.
I look forward to replies and any advice and meeting some of you in the future.
