Places around Salcombe

Does anyone have any tips for trips around the Salcombe area?

Within the harbour/ ria

Tide permitting:
go to the mill brook pub for lunch
A trip to kingsbridge
Explore up to frogmore creek
Beach on mill bay
Fish over the bar
Have a blast around starehole bay

Then head West to Burgh Island, Hope Cove and further into Plymouth. Loads to explore the coast there.

East is fun too, an hours run down to Torquay - can be interesting over Start Point but to some of us, that's where the fun starts.

Don't limit yourself to the estuary - enjoy the coast, building on experience and knowledge.
