Slip Ways In Hertfordshire

Evening,

I am a new member here and have just purchased a sunsport 320 with mercury 9.9hp.

I am looking for places to launch in the Hertfordshire Essex areas on the river system until I get more experience then will be looking to go to sea.

Anyone know of any easy places to launch in these areas?

Stansted Abbots Marina has a slip

Stansted Abbots Marina charges £25 per day to use there slip way, was hoping to find a cheaper or even free one.

We are based in Hertfordshire, not yet found a free slip on the river lea.
St Neots is only 45 mins up the road and on the River Great Ouse. Lovely river and there is a free public slip in the middle of town.

I agree The River Great Ouse is a lovely stretch of water, especially around the Brampton Mill area. I will take a drive out to St Neots today and have a look for the slip way.

Try Roydon Mill near Harlow big marina there

or contact Enfield Sub Aqua Club, sure they used to test try their rib on river somewhere,
