Hi Jenks and welcome

What sib/OB have you got? Days out with the family or fishing?

Don't know the Gower too well, but we spent a week there last year which was brilliant, take a look at this thread.

If you are inflating / deflating from the back of the car Oxwich bay was ideal. All the facilities you need, easy beach/slip launch and recovery, lots of parking. Bit pricey if you are using a trailer, but very convenient.
We never used it, but there is also a slip at the mumbles.

Thanks Steve, local to Gower so know all the spots well just unsure regarding launching without a trailer etc so thanks for your info. Looks like you had nice conditions for your visit, looking the same this week so hoping for the maiden voyage on my new set up. Oxwich prob one of the best spots to launch just on a big tide it’s a good walk back up the beach. Horton not a bad spot so guna try that tomorrow. Short walk to beach using a path then just down to the waters edge. Cheers 🍻

Will be fishing so try and keep my equipment to a minimum I think make for an easier launch.
