Basic Information Second resurrection of 1989 Zodiac 530 that originally worked the oil spill in Prince William Sound. Bought right after first redo. Took boat in for retooling and to sell to local shop. Boat was parted out by disreputable boat shop owner. Retrieved what was left, waited a period of time to recover, then realized this boat would satisfy all the family needs for ocean going salmon fishing. So started over.....
Exterior Modifications
Gelcoated deck and keel with Gray. Bought new 530 tubes from www.inflatableboats.com. Refitted tubes, complete new electrics during motor swap. Motor is Tohatsu 115. Transom is rated for 120 so went for it. Mounted 60 gal fuel cell forward of helm

Proper radio and Lowrance Elite5
Engine and Fuel Tank Information
60 gallon fuel cell mounted forward of helm which is also mounted slightly more forward to balance weight of 115 hp motor

Not alot at this time. Trolling motor mount, manual trim tabs,
Favorite Cruising Destinations
So far plans are for Resurrection Bay, Homer and Seward Alaska and the lower Kenai River for dipnetting for salmon
