100 HP yam Ribeye 600 Fat people?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a ribeye 600. There will be four large adults on board. Will it pull a wake boarder easily and what will it top out at please?
Also, does the 115hp engine make much difference?
Thanks Sonicoid

hello there

I have a ribeye 600 with 100Hp Yam. whole rig 2004. Top end 39Mph full tank and 4 on board. Have pulled adult water skier (albeit about 75Kg) with 4 adults and 3 kids on board - no issues. Have pulled inflatable with 3 on it and 10 in the boat!! (6 of which were kids). All in all no drama, boat copes excellently.

Thanks

Hi
That's really helpful.
Thanks very much. There are currently a few 100hp a600's on the market but no 115hp in my price range.

Cheers

Speed

We have a Ribeye with a 100hp Yamaha engine in Falmouth. 35 knots no problem with 4 adults. A few weeks ago 9 of us went across to the Helford River for a meal cruising easily at 20 knots but on the way back I let it rip but couldn’t manage more than 30 knots. I would say that four of the people on board were what you would call obese! I mean 20 - 25 stone! I worked out the weight of everyone the next day and it was a total of 850kgs!! Fortunately our friends will never read this!
