10m Offshore Personnel Cabin

http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26919

Judging by the lines and styling, could the cabins be designed and supplied by Redbay?

That is a bit of an insult??

Mollers,

Thinks the designers at redbay could take offence to that.

Very much doubt they had anything to do with construction of aluminium wheelhouse on this rib

Does look very square / shed like, maybe that is to accommodate the personnel who may be built like brick $hit houses that it is built to transport.

Rgds

Do you think so?

It has a certain 'industrial chic' about it.

Actually I quite like the survey boat (at least from the angle in your picture). It looks robust/rugged/reassuring, and is aesthetically a lot better than some of the quinquari jobs.

Is that actually a giant life raft on the back of the welsh boat? I think I would rather take my chances in the cold sea than get in their with a dozen sheep!

Really? I'm told they're very good company, and wet wool is supposed to be an excellent insulator. I must confess that I'm not sure of the true home port of the sheep-express. It could be any sheep loving nation....

bilges anyone?

PS. all photography courtesy REDBAY website.

aye but unless they are different from any sheep I have seen they aren't toilet trained! and wet sheep stink - being trapped in a liferaft with one is a terrifying thought!
