2 or 4

Hi,
I'm guessing that this is an old topic. I'm looking at getting a Zodiac 550. Ive seen one with a 115hp 2 stroke and another with an 80 4 stroke. Has anyone got any advice please on either.

Thanks
Oly

What are the brads and models of motors? It’s completely dependant on you, preferences, Price, condition, hours etc.

Any more info or links?

Personally the fuel efficiency of a 4 isn’t enough to win me over if the 2 is a cleaner, lower hours motor.

the Yamaha v4 2 strokes are a cracking outboard but a little thirsty I think the other one may feel a little underpowered with the 80hp mercury but will be better on fuel
