How easy and affordable are etec dials to get hold off 👍

Depends what sort you are after. The ICOMMAND Gauges are the digital ones. You can get a 3.5 or a 2" and they are not cheap also you will need to have an NMEA network set up in the boat.

I'm not absolutely sure but for what I know, the NMEA 2000 compatibility on the e-tec 90hp begin in 2008. So, if this connection is important for you, make sure it is a 2008 before you buy. Mine is a 2006 and there is no NMEA output on the EMM.

I'm more old school I like the dials,might be getting a 2008 90 hp but the sun has faded the dials can they be re- conditioned or would I have to replace them at some point.

When you say faded, do you mean that the "glass" has gone hazy/opaque?
If so, yes, they can be fixed. I've used Brasso and 3M Machine Polish at different times to good affect.

Do you use Finesse or more of a cutting compound like 3m green top on mutton cloth or a decent polish cloth. Cheers Nigel
