James,
No harm intrying to sell now. As to whats it worth I don't know. Its a nice looking boat and I remember you doing all that work to it. I think you should try a price that you are happy with. I've just sold a Searider and the phone has never stopped ringing since it went on www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk so there are plenty of buyers out there now. I reckon theres still over two months of ribbing left for even the most fair weather sailor out there. So give it a try. The only problem I can see you having is with the engine. I sold a boat with a newish Tohatsu on and all everyone kept saying was how much more the boat would have been worth with a Yamaha or Mercury etc on it. By the way is it really 4.2 meters. I didn't realise they did a 4.2 Searider but no doubt Roguewave will correct me if I'm wrong.

Avon Searider
Hi
I sold my 4.7 with 18 month old 55 houred 60 HP 4 stroke Yam a few months ago, advertised it on boats and outboards and sold it within 7 days, advertised it for 5.6 K and let it go in the end for £5,550 and had to haggle hard for that. As it was i had so much interest i could have sold it 10 times over, the guy wanted to give me 4.8k for it but after explaining the level of kit and the current value of the engine he kind of saw it my way.
