4.7m, 1x70hp 12miles?

Hi there, i am looking to buy my first boat.

i have some boating experience as i did some summer sport sailing and wakeboarding teaching in a school where i used boats every day for several sumer months.

Nevertheless, never own one so not that experienced.

My question is: will a 4,7m with 1xsuzuki 70hp fourstroke engine be ok to do a 12 miles crossing from my home town (maputo, mozambique) to a nearby (12miles) desert beaches?

The sea sometimes can get a litlle rough.

My challenge is budget. As i know that a bigger boat and an extra engine would be the ideal for this situation. But, at the moment i have no such cash.

i was thinking of going for this 4,7 infanta rib with the 70hp suzuki, use it, and than later, with more budget, just buy a bigger boat, extra engine and i could upgrade to the twinm engine set up.

What do you guys think?
