4m searider question
hi everyone, just got myself an old 4m searider which i'm in the process of doing up so i thought i'd better join this fine forum so that i can officially be one of the boys!!!  i've been reading about flooding hulls etc but can't see any sign of any hole or even filled in hole in the transom, did avon ever make any like this or has somebody done a really good job on it. oh, while i'm here, anyone know where to get a cheap double centre console? and does anybody want the windscreen and seats that i've just taken out?. cheers

It could just be a really good job 
If I had an original 'porno' 4 seater with a windscreen I would keep it original  post some pics if you can.

Get some pics up, they would have been a largeish hole in the transom and two vent holes in the bow.

If you find a Dutch porn movie from the late 70's, maybe early 80's you should see a set of the SR4 porn seats somewhere in it.

I'd keep the flappy bit of rubber (hypalon) as its an ideal colour match to your SR, that and price up how much it costs...

I am in the process of a re-build on a 1961 (ser no 00161) SR 4M Mine has the splash deck, but only has two seats. I actually made my own windscreen from a sheet of polycarbonate (worked out a lot cheeper than trying to buy a "ready made" one)
