osprey vipermax 6.5 with opti 200
23 inch prop doing 46-47 knots but only revving just past 5000 rpm
usually full of fuel and 2 plus 2 kids on board
still need to try a 21 inch prop to see if that allows to rev more and perhaps push the top end up!
cruises nicely at around 35-38+ mph at around ~3.7-4k revs and is returning 4.3 miles per us gallon overall as an average

You need to stick the word 'pitch' in there somewhere Hugh. Trawlers run 23 inch props. Running a 21"P wont give you more speed. Think of a car doing 5000 rpm and 100mph in 5th dropping it down to 4th will cause it to rev over 5000rpm but it'll only be doing 95mph.

with the new prop on we managed Mach 0.0728 or 24100 mm per sec but did not manage to do a proper speed trial cos the kids and mrs was moaning! if i can get to 2,200,000 metres per day i will be very happy
was thinking it would make a change from mph and knots!!

Ribquest LR5.8 - Suzuki DF115TUL - 4 stroke - 2 crew - 60 litres fuel, GPS recorded 39.1 knots in a force 3 - 4, offshore wind and a shop 2 ft chop.
Kicked it, jumped up & down, kissed the consul and spoke to it sweetly, but it wouldn't break 40 knots with its standard Ali prop. (savin up for a stainless one 7 tryin to avoid a divorce!)

Renegade 6.5m, Tohatsu 140. 39knots trimmed right out. Lovely boat but not really a speed king...I've taken her from Poole to Alderney several times and she's always looked after me. At WOT the fuel flow meter needle is almost wrapped round the endstop at 80l/hr so I don't keep the throttle open too long....

Humber Destroyer - 7.209370385e-8 times the speed of light (through air), 2 persons, DF140 Suzuki trimmed all the way to the top.
I have had 43.4knots (1.4knot faster than the figure above), but that was not real since I was going with the wind and tide, only one person on board, empty fuel tank, and the fish finder had broken off the back creating less drag too
