Humber Extreme 5.5
The last little humber, an extreme 5.5 with a 115hp Evinrude on the back and a 19" prop clocked a best average of 43.2 on a mirror flat sea.

6.1 Tohatsu, 150 opti, 1/3 tanks, 1 person, 52 mph in the derestricted part of the Thames!! The tide was with me so take off 3 or so mph. On total flat calm with a clean bottom the previous owner claimed 54 mph which I recon is more than possible.

Yeah, compared to other ribs this seems too fast & I cant figure out why other than the speedo being out.The Gemini weighs 220kg, motor 140kg & virtually no tube in the water trimmed up at the nose. I will have to get a GPS & see what it reads.

yes sometimes things need a little adjustment to get it into focus, my friend as I posted on page 3 has the same boat as me but a yam 130hp, instead of a 200 hp, he is running a 21p 3 blade prop with around 40ltr fuel and 2 up, on a slack tide he runs 60mph gps trimmed right out engine standard height, thats 100%, so I can only assume the s/s prop has cupping may be making a 22 and the tacho under reads maybe by a 200+ rpm taking slip closer to 10% err maybe!!!

RIBCRAFT 6.5 with a Honda 150 and about 30 gallons of fuel, two of us on board, tops out at approx 45 knots, after trimming up some. Fast enough for me!!

Andy, My 6.1 tohatsu with a 150 opti does about 53 mph, with 1/2 tanks plus aux engine, big A frame and general bits and bobs on board.
Your 120 wont be far behind.
