engine is starting to loosen up a bit now and is 48+ knots (not fully trimmed up) now with full fuel and two on board

so once the diet starts on jan 1st I should see 50 knots next year!!

(not fully trimmed up) ??

So what happens if its fully trimmed up , Just learning here cos I thought max speed was always achieved fully trimmed up when set up properly ,

Hopin iam wrong and there is some hidden speed left in my boat

BananaShark "Jet Six" (6.2m overall) Mercruiser 120 hp Diesel waterjet 30 knots, copes with a force 6 -7 in the Solent no problem, 30 knots and uses a maximum of 27 litres an hour, average consumption approximately 15 litres an hour max!

Glassy calm though!

mmm... Always thought I should be able to get afew more knts than I do.

Ribtec 585, Yam F100, 4 blade prop (not the fastest I know)
WOT @ not much over 5000rpm 29kts/30kts
