Unless it's knackered or unreliable, keep the 150 and just run round at full throttle for 10,000 miles on the ££££ you save in upgrading!!

That's ABC.

Sounds like your already know what you want so I guess it's time to go buy it and mount it.

Sure they haven't just been a bit more accurate with the measurements or a bit more exaggerated with the length .....
I can answer that for you...

The Vipermax 6.8 is 6.8 meters long.

The Vipermax 6.5 was generally longer than 6.5 sometimes up to 6.8 meters long.

Yep, my 6.5 measures more like 6.7m. Fitted with a Suzuki V6 200. A bit heavy IMO but good performance.

Some rib manufacturers measure hull length some LOA

I didn't always know this

I sold my osprey as a 6m as it measured 6m... Maybe it was a 585

I've just remembered, that hull didn't have an ID plate or hull number.

Therefore, the OP is running around with a tape measure trying to work out quite what he's bought.

Trust me, it's a 6.5. I currently have a 7m Vipermax and at one point, the two were side by side. The 7m is 500mm longer.
