store your boat by the sea phil, then strip out the brakes. i do this and also use a crap set of bearings and have a pair of galvanised wheels for launching through the season. i refit all the brakes and decent bearings before bringing home the boat for winter

I where aware the brakes not the best but having only got the boat last season put it off thinking a new set off shoes will fix it but when I removed the hubs got a bit of a shock [emoji44] I'm getting 4 new wheels and 2 axels I think a new start is just the ticket considering my new motor etc. [emoji41]
