60 plus ribs out together

For those of you that perhaps don’t visit the upcoming events section I thought I would post a video of an excellent event we attended this week. It was the Easedale rib rendezvous held in Scotland U.K. The event was ‘brought together’ by Seafari’s from Easdale and Tony and his helpers did an excellent job. Many thanks to all. To me we seemed blessed with the weather and I think all had a good time. I am sure the Official camera man Mr DW will in due course post the official video, but until he does here is mine showing our day

We were very lucky and used the mooring buoy near the slip way at the site and then used a little dingy to paddle out to the boat. We had neap tides so not a big tidal range and next to no wind so it was good there. We also tried an anchor buddy that I think would have been ok but felt safer on the buoy.

For the 6.5 m rib we had the marina would have been £25 a night.

Outward leg about 60nm, Portland leg around 50 and a hop across to Poole 22.

If we drop a bit it'll be Portland - depends on the full plans once the team pull them together.

I do hope so - so long as the weather behaves - it'll need to be perfect
