Looks like the Gumtree ad is a scam.
what do they do , let you phone up , then when you turn up, instead of a boat for you to look theres a gun barrel and an open palm in its place ? Is it the phone number £10 a min trick ??
any add on gumtree that reply by email normal scam what they say is pay for it and we delever it to you hope this helps just pm or give me bell if you need advice

I believe that's my old 7.5m 'Quickstep' which has been mentioned on here previously. Was also tested and reported in RIBS International Magazine by Hugo Montomery-Swan. It's a Carson 750 with a stepped hull. Is was my personal boat for awhile and after doing the Dover-Boulogne Record and Round Ireland along with various other things I sold it to a gentleman with a luxury villa on one of the Greek islands. I took it there behind a Land Rover through France and Italy then Greece. He used it himself and also rented it out with his villa when not in residence himself. Since then I know he had a brand new engine fitted. However regarding its present ownership and more recent history I know nothing. It is quite right to say that it was advertised on Ebay a little time back and some postings on here followed. A very good buy at that money providing it's still in good shape and all above board. Potentially a bargain in fact! But as already mentioned. Anyone interested ought to go and inspect it before parting with any cash and if buying tow away on the day.
