A decent pump!

Has anybody got any recommendations for a decent rib pump?

I've tried the bellow type - particularly the horrid ones with the yellow ribbed hose,

http://www.plastimo.com/catalogue/pr...ID=1&ref=10157

and

the stirrup type ones

http://www.plastimo.com/catalogue/pr...ID=1&ref=10386

Neither of them last. On the bellow type one the yellow hose comes apart and the stirrup ones are too delicate.

Am I mising some super amazing other variety of pump that works and lasts?

we use a BST12 HP Bravo It's superb and so quick. We had one fail after 3 months when it was replaced we disassembled it and really whacked the grease into the moving parts and it's been great eversince.

No quibble with the Warranty. It gets our Zodiac up in about 2 minutes and not much longer for the 5.4

I've got one of those too. It's a bit OTT for just topping up the tubes on a RIB though!

Yeah, stop buying Plastimo cr4p!

Like JK we use the Quicksilver ones all over the place, one lives on our RIB too, not managed to break one yet.

Good aren't they

Please bear in mind,I was replying to a guy who is involved in a safety boat company and event management who asked the question 'Am I missing some super amazing other variety of pump that works and lasts?

If It's a manual it would be the old Avon foot pump made of wood and Hypalon which I use as a back up
