A Littel Help Required

Hi everybody
I need to insure my rib by the weekend , I have already wasted a morning
ringing around insurers most of which seme to want to no the ins & outs of
a cats backside rather than relevant information about the rib.
Value of Rib & Trailer aprox £15000 the best so fare is £450

Could somebody please spare a minute to point me in the direction of a decent company thanks

Try this......

....however I think £450 is ok. Mardon 01743 232688. A lot of us on here use them.

These two come recommended by many RIBnetters: http://www.curtismarine.co.uk/ or http://www.porthcawl-insurance.co.uk/ . We have a Haven Knox Johnson policy through Colin Curtis.

HTH

P.S. Don't mean to teach granny (Grumpy!) to suck eggs but do check that you are insured for what you intend to do, e.g. cross channel trips, towing toys or whatever!

Edit: I've also heard these people are good: http://www.euromarine-ltd.com/

Insurance

I use Mardon too - 01743 232688, policy with Royal & Sun Alliance. £18K value (including trailer) for £337. This includes water skiing (which includes tubes & other toys maximum of two riders). Inland and costal waters & speed up to boat's max. rated speed (note some general purpose policies have a 17kt limit). Also important is the storage location, obviously the safer the cheaper.

Try blackrock insurance over in yarmouth. Don't have a number but I'm sure google or yellow pages will find it for you.

Cheers

I am using craftinsure.com - all online and they beat other prices at the time - saying that review due shortly. (Could also pay monthly)

Try Bishop Skinner & Co in London 0207 566 5800 or www.bishopskinner.com

Always found them reasonable and helpful.
